Eta Theta Honor Society Information: The University of Phoenix is awaiting final approval of our
Eta Theta chapter from the Internal Revenue Service, through Alpha Phi Sigma. Eligible students have
been identified; we will be sending out invitations to apply for membership upon receipt of approval.
University of Phoenix Criminal Justice graduates in attendance in 2005, 2006, and/or 2007 who meet
eligibility requirements will be invited to apply for membership
Based on the University of Phoenix’s eligibility review, students will be personally invited to submit an application to become a member. The Eta Theta Chapter Advisor approves the application and submits it to the national Alpha Phi Sigma headquarters for processing.
Upon approval of the chapter, new members are inducted into Alpha Phi Sigma membership once a year. After the application due date, Eta Theta sends the membership information to Alpha Phi Sigma. They will then create packets and mail them out to our chapter. New members are sent a letter that includes information about attending an induction ceremony. At the induction ceremony, new members receive their membership packets. Students may contact Alpha Phi Sigma to order graduation honor cords and other regalia.
