The University of Phoenix educational model allows students to develop skill sets pertinent to their educational environment and to the Criminal Justice and Security profession in which they are interested. Students will be exposed to educational methods where administrative and managerial skill sets will be studied, applied, and transferred to their chosen profession. These educational methods include:

As part of the learning experience, collaborative learning teams have been developed to create an interactive, diverse environment within the physical and virtual classroom. These teams give students an opportunity to work together to develop and complete assignments. Students will learn and develop skill sets that can be used in their professional lives, including:
